POCKET COLPOSCOPE

Designed in collaboration with Duke University, we pursued decreasing the countless preventable deaths caused by cervical cancer by creating a portable colposcope to make cervical screenings more accessible and affordable around the globe. By using precision microscopy, we provided reliable high quality imaging of the cervix   ; by creating a portable and ergonomic form, we enabled the possibility of remote diagnostics; and by developing an elegant and soft design language, we communicated a professional and approachable tool. The final design took Duke's initial concept and refined the user experience, ergonomics, and form, bringing it into production.
